Facial Redness & Facial Blushing

Facial redness and blushing can be really embarrassing. What most people don’t know though is that it can also become a serious health problem when it continues for many years. Fortunately, there are things that you can do to reduce and stop facial redness and blushing. This article will help you to gain a better understanding of the condition and possible treatments.

This can be a very bothersome condition, because people will often make all kinds of assumptions when you blush. For example, sometimes you might blush when asked a question that you find embarrassing, or that causes you slight anxiety. Other people often misinterpret this blushing as if it would mean that you lied to them, or try to keep some secret from them. No matter what you say, and no matter whether what you said was true or not, people will often assume that you lied no matter what.

A lot can be said about the problem of red faces and blushing. Facial redness is commonly used to describe a condition in which a person has a constantly red hue on his or her face. Facial blushing on the other hand is most often used to describe the temporarily reddening of ones face, particularly when the person feels shame, embarrassment or anger. However, people who blush often might later in life notice that their face color changes to red on a more permanent basis. This is mainly due to the repeated dilation of blood vessels in the face.

When facial veins become permanently dilapidated, then there can also be small red blood vessels visible on the face – and these can overtime sometimes grow into ugly marks on the face. What’s more, a condition called rosacea might develop – and this can lead to problems with dry eyes, and later even diminished eye-sight if the condition is not treated.
