Home Remedies For Acne – Get Rid of Acne Overnight

What causes acne?

Acne is not only embarrassing, but it can also be polarizing because it makes you not want to be seen at all. Your face is the first thing that people see so you want to look and feel the best you can. Most people don’t understand that acne is nothing more than a skin inflammation. Our skin has sebaceous glands. They produce oil to lubricate the skin. When some of that oil becomes trapped, bacteria can grow and inflame the skin.

What can you do to prevent acne?

You’ve probably been told to keep your skin clean, avoid touching your face, and drink plenty of water. If you still suffer from acne despite following even the best skincare routines, then you may want to try a few at home remedies.

Acne Home Remedies

Aspirin Mask– Aspirin contains beta hydroxy acid, which helps to unclog pores and clear blemishes. Try this remedy once a week. Take 6 to 8 aspirin and crush them up in a small bowl. It should be the consistency of a fine powder. Add a few drops of water until it forms a thick paste. Spread it over your face, paying particular attention the areas where you have breakouts. Let it stay for 15 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water.

Toothpaste– Another easy home remedy is to put toothpaste on your pimple(s) before you go to sleep.

Lemon Juice– Apply some fresh lemon juice to your acne and leave it on overnight. Rinse the next morning with warm water.

Oatmeal– add a little bit of water to oatmeal and then rub over the affected areas. Let it set for 15 minutes and rinse.

Apple Cider Vinegar– dab acne with a cotton ball dipped in apple cider vinegar. This helps to dry up the oily pimple.

Corn Flour– mix corn flour with an egg white and apply like a mask on the face. Let it six until it is dry and hard. Rinse with warm water.
